His heroic acts in that moment will have a permanent impact on everyday life, Nate’s passion for playing soccer, and his love for being a police officer. This is not the first line of duty injury for Spiess. Three years ago, he was shot in his left leg while pursuing a homicide suspect. The officer’s strength, determination, and resilience pushed him to overcome, and now he needs your help to embark on another difficult journey.
He gave his all for our city. It’s time for us to give back.
